# 浏览器标签页中未读消息计数与用户偏好设置的关系模糊不清

目前，如果我在浏览器标签页中全屏显示一个聊天室，我的标签页会更新未读消息计数：

在“用户偏好设置” \> “聊天”中，有一个选项允许用户为 Chat 插件的“标题栏中的活动指示器”定义精细的规则。

目前，浏览器标签页中的未读计数并未反映我对该设置的选择，即我可以选择“从不”，但仍然会收到针对聊天室中每条未读消息而增加的计数。

我猜测“标题栏中的活动指示器”指的是聊天图标本身上的小气泡：

从这个角度来看，我相当确定该设置在_技术上_是按预期工作的。

话虽如此，我猜测深入研究偏好设置以定义“活动指示器”规则的用户，很可能也希望影响浏览器标签页中的计数器，因为这是 Chat 插件指示活动的相对高可见度的方式。
