# Chat window moves up when opening editor for new topic - is this intended?

I just noticed that when I have the chat window open, but not expanded, and then also open the editor for a new topic, the chat window moves up on the screen. Which is a bit irritating because there is still space on the right.  
I’m unsure if this is actually a bug, but I do find it a bit irritating UX-wise.
