# Closed Topics Listed as Unread

Recently in our community we have been mass locking old topics. I’m aware that when I lock a topic it doesn’t come up in latest, but it does come up in _Suggested_ and _Unread_ with the blue bubble.

When the topic is clicked, I get nothing (no posts). Just a “After xx months” and a “Closed xx min ago”

This is by design – people **who were tracking the topic** may want to know that it was closed.
Those who were not tracking it will not see any unread indicators, as with any other topic they are not tracking.
