커뮤니티 실무자 중에서도 가장 특권이 많은 사람들조차 커리어 중 적어도 한 번은 성장 목표 달성을 위한 스트레스를 겪지 않고 은퇴에 도달하기는 어렵습니다. 우리 대부분은 어떤 시점에든 참여도 통계와 밀접한 관계를 맺어 왔으며, 그 관계는 얼마나 변덕스러울 수 있는지 모릅니다. 커뮤니티가 초기 단계에 있을 때, 꾸준한 성장은 생존과 동등한 의미를 가집니다. 커뮤니티 빌더들은 모두 임계 질량이라는 성배를 추구합니다. 커뮤니티가 자립적으로 유지되기 시작하는 그 마법 같은 전환점이 바로 그것입니다.
