# Community Guidelines & Abusive Content Moderation Support

Hi,

Does Discourse provide any built-in blocked word list or moderation feature for abusive, offensive, or discriminatory language?

We would like to know:

- Is there any default profanity/discriminatory word list available?

- Can we add custom blocked words/phrases?

- Can posts containing those words be automatically blocked or flagged for moderator review?

Please share the recommended approach or best practices for implementing this in Discourse.
