All I have to do to disable the heart / like system is in the settings > post menu click X next to like and save? It seems to remove the hearts from the posts but I wasn’t sure if there was anything else I have to do.

Yes, Discourse was built with deep integration with Likes so disabling them affects many aspects of the forum. An admin must have a very good reason for wanting to disable Likes.

[圖片] dax: An admin must have a very good reason for wanting to disable Likes. I just figured if someone wanted to click a button, mind as well type a reply so turning off the likes could funnel into more user activity but now after thinking about it sort of all makes good sense. Mine as well …
