# Compose input box bg color incorrect in dark mode

Yes those styles are too broad, I checked and I don’t think we need them at all anymore… so I’m removing them in an update here: [DEV: remove redundant disabled styles - Pull Request #42685 - discourse/discourse - GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/42685). Thanks for reporting it.
