# Composer placeholder does not update when it should

Yes, I see it now, I am totally confused

Change was on July 13 [UX: Update composer placeholder for RTE by martin-brennan · Pull Request #33594 · discourse/discourse · GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/33594)

but my 3.6.0 beta1 forum does not have it.
