# Configuring auto-bumping for topics

I’d assume the setting “Number of open topics to automatically bump daily” requires an integer. The code wouldn’t likely cope with a fraction of a topic.

If you wanted to make a feature request, maybe what you’d be looking for is a two-part setting: “Automatically bump `[]` topics every `[]` days.”

(Or perhaps this is something a plugin could do.)
