# Confused by users counts on Users page vs. About page

As of right now the user counts on both these pages say something different…

… what is the technical difference between these?  
… should they be different?

The /users page only counts users who had some activity in the time period.. Beyond that you would need to ask @eviltrout.

Actually we eventually changed it to include users who are active as it was more confusing with them excluded.

There was a bug here that I’ve caught:
