# Connection timed out when running SSH connection command

Following the steps from the repo mentioned [here](https://meta.discourse.org/t/install-discourse-in-production-with-the-official-supported-instructions/142537), I attempted to run the SSH connection command, but it said: `ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.1 port 22: Connection timed out`. Any ideas?
