I’m a bit curious now—maybe it’s due to how I’m operating it. It seems that once I use this feature, I can only see the language I’ve selected. For example, if my forum mainly targets Japanese clients, all the content will be unified into Japanese. Or if I feel my Japanese isn’t good enough and want to set something in Chinese, it all turns into Chinese. It seems the original state is lost.
Would it be possible to add a default state here, with a note in parentheses (no translation needed)? That way, a single post could contain Japanese, English, and Chinese without being unified into just one language. Of course, I would be very happy to have such a plugin. This plugin would definitely bring great convenience to my users.
At the same time, we might consider that some users are multilingual learners—they are able to read and understand different languages. They might prefer to understand the original text themselves, rather than having it automatically unified into their strongest language.
