# Control who can adjust Topic Timer?

Hi,

Can I give a certain user group or TL permission to adjust automatic topic timers?

I’m looking to have a specific group of TL4s who are not mods, permission to remove the auto-delete timer, that’s set for topics that are moved (merged) to other topics.

You can achieve this by enabling the `enable_category_group_moderation` site setting and adding these TL4 non-staff users to your designated group.You can then grant these users extra moderation abilities by specifying the designated group under the **Moderation** section of the category settings.

Please note that this grants the users permission to also add these auto-delete timers.
