# Could someone help explain the bug severity chart and numbers?

Hi everyone, I was wondering, what are the numbers and arrows on this post? Could someone enlighten me on its meaning?

Severity of bugs perhaps? Seems weird though.

I think it illustrates the priority of bug reports:

When something stops working and affects all users, it is more important than a bug which is only cosmetic and affects just one user.  
The arrows highlight that those cells have the same priority.  
Maybe the table would be more helpful in the section about priority at [Writing an effective bug report](https://meta.discourse.org/t/writing-an-effective-bug-report/183671)
