# Created Topic Sort

I was able to get around that by doing `setDefaultHomepage("latest?order=created&");`  
_But_ now the problem is, even though all the indicators say so, the actual sorting doesn’t apply.

So I tried the same url using [Custom Homepage for Groups](https://meta.discourse.org/t/custom-homepage-for-groups/199623) and that _did_ work 🎉 Not sure why that component’s redirect would work differently since I’m pretty sure it using the same method.
