is this not something that can be handled through moderation? Just send a PM with warning to the people doing the necrobumping to let them know not to do that? If it persists, you can create an announcement topic and banner it, to reinforce the policy.

[Bild] JammyDodger: Hopefully David fixes Warn admins/tl4 when replying to closed topics and then you can see what needs changing in your own one. :slight_smile: Maybe Unformatted Code Detector could work as an example for a new component. That also shows a warning when you try to post.
