# Creating a 'my groups' link

What I’d like to do is have a link in my header which takes people to the groups which they are a member of.

With many of the links in Discourse, this can be achieved using ‘my’ instead of the u/username such as in:

[https://meta.discourse.org/u/codinghorror/summary](https://meta.discourse.org/u/codinghorror/summary)  
becomes  
[https://meta.discourse.org/my/summary](https://meta.discourse.org/my/summary)

However, I can’t make this happen for my groups, as the links seem to work a bit differently:  
[https://meta.discourse.org/g?username=codinghorror](https://meta.discourse.org/g?username=codinghorror)  
becomes  
???

Can anybody help me with this?
