# Creating groups in Discourse

Welcome to Meta @JellyForums 👋

This guide is still up to date albeit the first image of the old hamburger menu has changed to a sidebar.

Just append `/g` to the end of your sites url which will take you to the groups page. Then in the top right corner there will be a ‘New Group’ button and you’re good to go from there 😉
