I’d like to add an direct link on homepage for taking private notes, sending to self.
I’ve read [creating-pre-filled-personal-message-links](https://meta.discourse.org/t/creating-pre-filled-personal-message-links/35984).

Is there any way to pre-fill username for every user, just with own username(like rudy)？So users needn’t search and fill their own names by hand.

Thanks. I’ve already posted the guide above. I wonder if there is a way to pre-fill username in receiver for logined user, just own name.

I took a different path. I guided my users on how to effectively use tools to make notes using their devices.
Multiple drafts won’t fix that, because publishing and notes are fundamentally different things. I have a few such power users, and for them (and myself), I created a private category. But that can’t be a general solution.

For each user, he/she may like to write drafts with different topics and modify them sometime. Publish or just keep notes. I think _message_ is enough to do this, but it’s inconvenient to fill own name every time.
