# Creating subdirectories in a Discourse hosting environment

Is there any documentation on creating a subdirectory in the same instance where Discourse is hosted?
For example, let’s say my forum is running on [example.com](http://example.com), and I would like to host some other files on [example.com/custom](http://example.com/custom).
PS: Not just some static pages.
