CSS for background coloring

(Erik Manger) #1

Hello,

I have the following code - however, the background does not continue as the browser is scrolled down. What is wrong with this code?

Thanks in advance!

    html, body {
    height: 100%;
}

body:before {
    display: inline-block;
    width: 1125px; // default is 1110px
    min-height: 100%;
    height: inherit;
    background-color: white;
    content: " ";
    position: fixed;
    left: 50%;
    right: 0;
    transform: translate(-50%, 0);
    -webkit-transform: translate(-50%, 0);
}

@media (max-width: 1139px) and (min-width: 1000px)
{
    body:before {
        width: 1010px; // default is 995 px
    }
}

body {
  background-color: #0066CC;
  min-width: 100%;
  min-height: 100%;
}

You need to remove all of those; they interfere with the infinite scrolling.

This is… incredibly dubious.

Try this:

html {
  background: red;
}
.wrap {
  background: white;
}
