# Custom Admin Toolbox

A simple theme component to support admin task-flow when setting up or working on an instance.

This is basically just a fork of the [Custom header links (icons)](https://meta.discourse.org/t/custom-header-links-icons/86307) theme component. I changed the preset icons to a few one-click links to admin pages (Settings, Customize, Text):

Also added a few settings: You can limit the display of the icons to one specific admin user. And you can toggle the display of various alert banners.

Is it possible to make the toolbox available for a group like admin/stuff or moderator?

It shows only for admins by default. What would be the use case for another group?
