Custom css not loading after page reload

(Bahadır Yağan) #1

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to admin panel
  2. Reload page with cmd + R
  3. Go back to the homepage

Now the custom css is not loaded. The following error is printed to the console but I don’t know if it is relevant.

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ,

This is by design AFAIK. It’s to help in case your custom CSS gets messed up so badly you need to recover without using it.

Thank you. This bug can be closed if that is the case.

Well, it’s by design that custom-css isn’t loaded in the admin section. As @downey said, it is indeed to allow you to revover from a mistake.

But, we should definitely better handle the transition back to the topics by loading the custom CSS and unloading it whenever you enter the admin section.

Hmm. Doing this would make it awfully difficult for me to test bugs without our custom CSS loaded, since I don’t want to disable it for everyone.
