I found the documentation on how Docker creates and maintains `/etc/resolv.conf`: [Networking overview | Docker Docs](https://docs.docker.com/engine/userguide/networking/default_network/configure-dns/)

It doesn’t seem to be doing exactly what it says there, but it told me enough to fix the problem. I added the following line to my container’s YAML file:

```
docker_args: --dns=10.33.55.1
```

And now I get the `resolv.conf` file I need.
