Custom network to connect to

Hey all,

I would like to be able to specify custom networks the app will connect to.

I have automated nginx with lets-encrypt where all exists on webproxy network. It is a neat setup where whole proces of cert renewal is automated through this repo.

Setup looks as follows:

All is needed for the docker container to be automatically proxied is:

   environment:
     VIRTUAL_HOST: speedtest.mydomain.com
     LETSENCRYPT_HOST: speedtest.mydomain.com
   networks:
     - my-proxy-net

networks:
 my-proxy-net:
   external:
     name: webproxy

or

networks:
  default:
    external:
      name: webproxy

None of these is respected in the app.yml file…

Plese be so kind and add this ASAP, since it is a blocker and quite limiting not allow users to specify tier networks.

Neither the ./launcher start app --docker-args "--network webproxy" works…

Appreciate and thanks!

Michal

docker args should absolutely work it pipes the information in, to docker run per:

If you are doing very advanced things you need to be able to get your hand dirty and work through the launcher script. Technically you don’t even need it and can just docker run your bootstrapped container.
