# Custom notification schedule on the weekends

Is it possible to completely turn off notifications on the weekends? We’d like staff to be able to do this, but at present it seems like it’s only possible to restrict it to a 30 min window.
This is OK, but will still mean that emails go out to staff on the weekends if there are new posts. We think it’s important for work life balance that we can turn them off entirely, because its often a fiddle to stop email notifications on mobiles, for example, and staff often don’t do that.

This is possible! You can go to your notification preferences and click this checkbox
Then if you set Saturday and Sunday to “None”, you will be in Do Not Disturb the entirety of those days.
