# Custom user post display

**What would you like done?**

We would like to display additional user statistics on each post. In addition to the avatar, username, and title, we would like to display:

- Date joined
- Number of posts
- Number of likes received
- Likes per post ratio
- Extensible to include other user data or [custom user fields](https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-to-create-and-configure-custom-user-fields/113192) in the future

This is somewhat related to [Post Badges](https://meta.discourse.org/t/post-badges-component/114722), however Post Badges makes an ajax request per loaded post to get the badge data. @tshenry advises a plugin which sends all the required user info in the original payload would be better.

So I think there are two parts to the project:

- Include the additional data in the original payload, using a plugin
- Display the additional data, perhaps using css or a theme component?

We can do both the plugin and the theme component. Are those all the fields you need?
