# Personalizzazione? Scalabilità?

Hey all, i’m new to Discourse, just read about it yesterday. The community around this project is great. Now, from what I’ve read/seen I understand that Discourse is farther ahead in development than a substitute like Flarum but exactly how scalable is Discourse?

Will I be able to used maintain the same iteration of my Discourse forum 2 years from now with a growing user base?

There are Discourse communities with half a million users. I think you’ll be safe.
