# Cut off long topic names in notifications. long topic names get kinda annoying in the notification bar

hey, i’m on a forum. i request a feature to cut off long topic names in the notification bar.

they take up a TON of space. it pushes some notifications down.

I think you’d need to lobby the site owners to change the maximum topic title length to a lower value?
