Hey
The ‘anonymous users’ table in [Data Explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/32566?silent=true) is returning a list of actual users with user\_id. They’re not really ‘anonymous’ nor ‘anonymized.’

It’s not making any sense and I’m trying to understand what this table is and why the random list of 46/11000 users are in that list.

You can run:

```plaintext
SELECT * FROM anonymous_users
```

This table is referred to on the repo as: [discourse/app/models/anonymous\_user.rb at main · discourse/discourse · GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/blob/main/app/models/anonymous_user.rb)

Any clue?

Thanks!
