# Data Explorer Queries accessible to public

Last October! [Discourse 2.4.0.beta5 Release Notes - #2 by justin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-2-4-0-beta5-release-notes/129988/2)

Apologies, we never posted an update here. You can now allow groups read-only access to any [Data Explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/32566?silent=true) query. As an admin, access the query you want to give a group access to, and then enter the group name into the `Allow groups to access this query` box. Once saved, users can see the query on the group page at `example.com/g`
