# Deactivate auto publish discourse to post wordpress

Hello,
I progress slowly in the plugin’s interaction in wordpress but I have a problem because discourse automatically publishes the new topics of the discourse to new articles on the wordpress.
I’m looking but can’t find or turn off this feature.

In your WP Admin look for `Auto Publish` and `Force Publish` and uncheck them. You can also control publishing in the Discourse sidebar for each WP post.
`/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp_discourse_options&tab=publishing_options`

I’m not sure how that would happen. Have you set up the webhook according to the [directions](https://meta.discourse.org/t/wp-discourse-plugin-installation-and-setup/50752#heading--webhook-settings)?

That is strange. The plugin should not be causing Discourse topics to be published to WordPress. Are you sure that you haven’t set up something else to do this, for example, with the Discourse Zapier integration?

Since I spent WP optimize it cleaned my BDD and others and I don’t seem to have any problems anymore.
I watch and come back to you to tell you more.
