# Deactivate "building a community"

How can I deactivate the blue bar at the top “building a community” - we recommend 5 topics and 30…

In my case, not only is the count probably wrong and it should probably be off already, but the whole idea of the message is superfluous to our use case.

In these remote times, we are using this for a fairly small number of internal members (200 or so), we do not plan to roll out a huge, thirving public community. We are content as it is.

Is it this setting? `show create topics notice`

> If the site has fewer than 5 public topics, show a notice asking admins to create some topics
