# Decrease time delay for email sent

Is there a way to change the delay that emails are sent out for users subscribed to a particular topic. Right now the email is sent out about 30 minutes after a post is made.

There is a site setting name `email time window mins`. Can you try lowering it?

Thank you that did it, I rubber ducked my problem. I could have sworn I looked all over but didn’t find it until after I asked. Thanks for replying!
