# Speciale chatkanalen voor wiki's (en misschien andere onderwerpen)

I’d love to see the ability to have a chat channel associated with wiki posts, primarily for the reasons articulated in this other feature request:

The [Discourse Livestream](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-livestream/341335) Plugin does this for events + video, and the recently dropped [Event Chat Channels Now Available](https://meta.discourse.org/t/event-chat-channels-now-available/367885) has added it to the Calendar & Events Plugin.

Would it be possible to take it one step further and make Channels able to be associated with any Topic in much the same way?

Wikis are an obvious use cases for this, as they can have quite rowdy and convoluted discussions about minor points that will soon be forgotten - this would suit a chat channel with threads beautifully.

I’m sure that there are other use cases where this might come in handy too.
