# Default Homepage

I was wondering is it possible to set all new users default home page by admin settings to category?  
Instead of it being latest.

So you want categories to be the first element

First element I am able to do but it’s not necessary for first element to be the default home page, I want all new users on my site to have default home as category, instead of latest and having to change individually for all users to category from preferneces.

Did you read @Moin’s reply?

the setting you want is in admin-settings. move category to top of list and it should be default homepage.

But note that users can override this and set their own default homepage in the preferences under their interface tab.
