i added a url in default avatars setting and then reset this setting and problem fixed.

I had the same problem last night. I power cycled my server and it fixed it. Your way sounds easier

I think restarting the server (via command line) was faster than rebuilding. And I never remember the command to restart the container. It’s how I fix my servers at work too

You don’t need to do that. Just rebuild your Discourse via SSH, or restart the container.
