# Default theme auto updates

If I accidentally deleted the **default** theme but then restore it using this method:

… will auto-updates from the theme repo still happen? I don’t see the autoupdates checkbox for the theme anymore. It’s missing:

Where can I redownload the default theme?

The default theme is just an empty shell so there is nothing to update. The reason you’re not seeing the autoupdates checkbox is because there isn’t even a repo.
