# Les noms d'utilisateur Unicode par défaut entrent en conflit avec la locale chinoise locale

Our site didn’t allow usernames and group names to contain Unicode letters, and this seems to be causing some problems

The default group name of administrators contains unicode letters.  
As a result, when I opened my admin message box, I got a error like …  
“管理员” means administrators in Chinese.

Hi @Alienazk

The only way I could replicate this was if I enabled `unicode usernames` before swopping locale. If not, the automatic group names remained untranslated.

Could you talk me through the sequence of how you came across this conflict so I could test it more fully on my test site?

I disabled unicode letters after swopping locale.  
Maybe the sequence of operations is causing the problem.
