# Устаревание расширения файлов .hbs в темах и плагинах

Windows контролирует весь свой стек, тогда как Discourse создаёт платформу на живой экосистеме. Ember сам по себе неоднократно нарушал обратную совместимость в крупных версиях. И это даже норма для экосистемы фронтенда, а не исключение.

По мне так здесь явно подходит не модель Windows, а то, что делают другие API-платформы: чёткое версионирование, уведомления о депрекации и разумное окно для миграции.
