# Desktop "Live Notifications" from Brave browser

I’ve installed the chat plugin for Discourse, but I cannot enable live notificiations on Brave even after turning Brave’s “shields” off for the site…

When you click on the lock icon on the location bar, what does it show?

Eg:

First, the Brave browser isn’t in our supported list of browsers.

That said, after following the instructions at the bottom of

I managed to get push notifications working on your site using Brave. Nice forum they have 😉
