# Developing Discourse on GitHub Codespaces

You can use the steps described in the other non-Docker based installs, like [Install Discourse on Ubuntu or Debian for Development](https://meta.discourse.org/t/install-discourse-on-ubuntu-or-debian-for-development/14727?silent=true#p-48887-create-new-admin-7)

The command to create an admin account is `bin/rails admin:create` and then you follow the prompts
