# Digest email color blue

Greetings. Love Discourse, the team working on this is exceptional. We are new to styling a Discourse installation. Have spent time customizing the themes, but can’t seem to change the background color of the digest email? It remains blue #2F70AC , and seem unaffected by any them color changes. Can anyone give advice?

There are settings for the colors. They just aren’t where you’d expect them. Try searching for settings named in the following post on the main Settings page in the Admin section:

We tried to simply use the default colour scheme, but it can result in some hideous summary emails…

I _think_ @neil made some enhancements to this recently so the emails will use a bit more of the native customized site colors?

The digest emails have been using the theme colors for a while. My recent change was to support customizing colors in notification emails:
