From [the install steps](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/blob/main/docs/INSTALL-cloud.md):

> ### 6. Install Discourse
> 
> Clone the [Official Discourse Docker Image](https://github.com/discourse/discourse_docker) into `/var/discourse`.
> 
> ```plaintext
> sudo -s
> git clone https://github.com/discourse/discourse_docker.git /var/discourse
> cd /var/discourse
> chmod 700 containers
> 
> ```
> 
> You will need to be root through the rest of the setup and bootstrap process.

So that repo would be cloned at `/var/discourse`. 👍
