Hello, Today, when I sent a direct message in my community, the user does not receive an email with this. There’s a possibility that Discourse send an email when a direct message is received? Thank you. ---

It’s possible that the user had recently visited the site, in which case, the site may not send an email. It depends on the following user preference: ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/meta/original/3X/1/b/1bed89d8a3b75dbdf909dc6efc1097b7689f9d32.jpeg) I would argue that Discourse should honour this setting for most notifications, but direct messages should always be emailed. ---
