# Disable a keybinding?

Does anyone know an easy way to disable a keybinding — specifically `ctrl-enter`? At least a couple of users have complained that they have accidentally posted things before they were ready because they accidentally hit `ctrl-enter`.

I think it’s especially frustrating for them when that unfinished post goes into moderation, because they can’t edit the unfinished post that has been sent to the moderators for review.

Browser plugins would be the only way. Control + Enter to submit is quite standard on the web.

I explained that to them, but I think the last incident in particular was really embarrassing for the user, and it has even happened to me before.

It can’t be overridden with the plugin system? If not, I will write Firefox and Chrome extensions for them, but I think most people will only reach for an extension after they make the mistake.
