# Disable "confirm your new account" activation email for invitees

My forum is a invite only forum. Currently, new users receive two emails:
1. invitation email.
and after they successful register, they will receive the second email
2. activation email, “confirm your new account.”
Is it possible to prevent this 2nd email from being sent? This email is really not necessary.

Its complicated cause we allow for both invite links and invite emails. I agree that ideally we should not be sending a second verification if the invite already hit your inbox.
There is no way to change default behavior atm
