# WordPress 글이 업데이트될 때 Discourse에 게시하는 기능 비활성화

안녕하세요, 플러그인이 대부분 잘 작동해서 감사합니다. 다만, 일부러 오래된 WordPress 게시물 중 Discourse에 게시하지 않은 것들이 있습니다. 이러한 오래된 WP 게시물에 오타 수정 등 어떤 편집이 이루어지면, 해당 WP 게시물이 완전히 새로운 것처럼 Discourse에 새 게시글이 생성됩니다. 그 결과, 사용자가 보고 싶어 하지 않는 오래된 콘텐츠에 대한 알림이 전송됩니다.
이러한 동작을 비활성화할 수 있는 방법이 있을까요? 감사합니다.

안녕하세요, @samtuke 님과 동일한 문제를 겪고 있어 참여합니다. 우회 방법을 찾을 수 없네요.
에디터가 이전에 Discourse에 게시되지 않은 오래된 WordPress 글의 오타 같은 것을 수정하면, 자동으로 새 토픽으로 게시됩니다. 이걸 막고 새로 작성된 게시물만 게시되도록 하고 싶습니다.
post\_ID \> 게시하고 싶은 post\_ID 하한선 같은 해킹스러운 훅을 추가할 수 있을 것 같지만, 더 나은 해결책이 있을지 모르겠습니다.

공유해 주셔서 감사합니다. 기존 글이 수정될 때 게시되는 이유는 아마도 “자동 게시(Auto Publish)”가 활성화되어 있어서일 것입니다. 이렇게 되면 편집기에서 “게시물을 Discourse에 게시” 체크박스가 자동으로 선택됩니다.
클래식 WordPress 편집기를 사용 중이신가요:
아니면 새로운 (Gutenberg) 편집기를 사용 중이신가요?

네, 그 이유가 맞지만, 제가 기대했던 동작은 수정된 글이 아니라 새로운 글을 게시하는 것이었습니다. 우리는 Gutenberg를 사용하고 있습니다.
기본 동작을 비활성화한 후 Discourse에서 게시할 새 글을 수동으로 선택할 수 있다는 것은 알고 있습니다. 하지만 더 나은 해결책을 기대하고 있었습니다 🙂

제가 아는 로직은 다음과 같습니다.
- 새로운 기사는 Discourse에 게시됩니다.
- 이미 Discourse에 게시된 기사는 수정 시 업데이트됩니다.
- 오래된 기사는 수정해도 Discourse에 게시되지 않습니다.
이 로직은 약간 혼란스럽습니다.
가상 BASIC으로 “hello world” 테스트를 해본 것 외에는 코딩에 대한 더 나은 이해가 없기 때문에, 기사의 상태를 Discourse의 상태와 비교하여 처리할 수 있을 것 같다는 추측은 가능합니다. 하지만 이러한 작업은 관리자 측의 속도를 늦추는 경향이 있습니다. 아니면 과거의 어떤 시점에서는 그런 상황이 될 수도 있겠죠. 🤷♂️
매우 혼란스러운 설정이 될 것 같습니다.

@ajolo2ky 그렇게 동작하기를 기대할 수 있는 이유를 이해합니다. 사실 이 부분은 저도 꽤 오랫동안 신경 쓰였던 부분입니다. 과거에 그렇게 동작하지 않았던 이유는 Gutenberg와 Classic 에디터 모두에서 자동 게시(auto-publish)를 지원하는 데 따른 복잡성 때문입니다. 여전히 Classic 에디터를 사용하는 분들이 많습니다.
오늘 아침 Gutenberg 동작 방식에 대한 개선 가능성을 살펴봤고, 다음 버전에서 업데이트를 적용할 수 있기를 기대하고 있습니다. 그 동안 해당 시나리오에서 게시물이 게시되지 않기를 원하시면 “Discourse에 게시” 체크박스를 해제하시거나 자동 게시를 비활성화하시면 됩니다.
업데이트된 동작 방식이 포함된 다음 버전이 출시되면/될 경우 여기에 업데이트 내용을 공유하겠습니다. 아마 약 1주일 후에나 가능할 것 같습니다.
