# Disable rich data (dates)

Hi,

Question: for a forum that was recently moved from BBPress to Discourse we would like to disable the rich data (especially on dates). The forum is pretty old, and a lot of posts are pretty old .. but the information itself is still very much relevant.

However, we have a feeling the old dates (dating back like 5 or 10 years) listed in the search results (due to [schema.org](http://schema.org) rich data) are discouraging users to click them.

Because the majority of the traffic originates from Google this is a somewhat of a problem.

So is there a way?

What data do you want do you want to hide? And you want to hide it from search engines?
