# Disable 'Suggest taking discussion private' feature

I believe there’s a feature where Discourse will suggest you take a discussion to private message when there are only a couple people participating.
Is there a way to disable that feature? This was reported to me by some users on our site, I haven’t experienced it, so I’m not exactly sure what to search for in the admin settings or in the code.

The site setting is called `get a room threshold` – you can set a value like `9999` to effectively disable it
